SUBARU SPONSORS GET OUT MORE TOUR
Subaru of America, Inc. sponsors recreation experts Randy and Sheri Propster in the 2009 Get Out More Tour. The Propsters drive a Tribeca from stop to stop on the tour, visiting specialty outdoor retailers to share extensive outdoor expertise and passion for wilderness exploration. Instructional sessions with fresh air enthusiasts range in topic from trip planning to safety skills.

COOL SCHOOL REWARDS
Win a car – what a great way to end the school year!
Subaru of America, Inc. and Grand Junction Subaru partnered with Mesa County School District 51 in Colorado to encourage students to finish school with the 2nd Annual “Be Cool and Stay in School” attendance program. The high school students qualified by maintaining a 98 percent or better attendance record during the 2008-2009 school year.
At the end of the year, 34 of the high school’s students qualified for the car giveaway, which was held at Grand Junction Subaru. Each student’s name was entered in a drawing that narrowed the 34 to five, and each of those five was given a key to try to start the prize – a white 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. It was won by Mandy Johnson, who missed no school throughout the year.
