Subaru Trek Mountain Bike Team Places at the Subaru Cup
The Subaru Trek team had a strong showing in the Subaru Cup that was held in Wautoma, Wisconsin, on June 26 and 27, 2010.
In the Legacy 24-mile, cross-country race, Willow Koerber finished second and national champion Heather Irmiger placed third. For the 28-mile men’s race, Sam Schultz came in first, national champion Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski placed fourth, and Russell Finsterwald finished 15th.
The Impreza Short Track race also had impressive finishes from the team. In the women’s race, Willow Koerber placed fourth, even with a crash, and Heather Irmiger finished eighth. The men consistently battled for the win, with Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski placing second, Sam Schultz third, and Russell Finsterwald 25th.
