Subaru of America celebrated Martin Luther King Day in January by giving its employees at headquarters and regional offices released time for community projects. For example, employees from Subaru corporate headquarters in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, volunteered time to organizations such as:
  • Camden Children's Garden, Camden, New Jersey
  • Food Bank of South Jersey, Pennsauken, New Jersey
  • Ronald McDonald House, Camden, New Jersey
  • Center for Family Services, Camden, New Jersey
  • Greater Philadelphia Food Bank, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Boys and Girls Club, Burlington Township, New Jersey
  • Providence House, Delran, New Jersey
  • MANNA, Philadelphia, Pennslyvania, at the Signature Site for Philadelphia MLK Day
Employees from the Regional Sales Offices also volunteered.
  • Central Region: Food Bank of the Rockies
  • Mid-America Region: Humanitarian Center
  • Penn Jersey Region: participated in Subaru headquarters' activities
