Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) received three model-year 2010 Residual Value Awards from ALG (Automotive Lease Guide). ALG honors the vehicles in each segment that it predicts will retain the highest percentage of their original prices after a three-year period. Vehicle quality, production levels relative to demand, and pricing strategies are among key factors that affect ALG’s residual value forecasts.
Subaru won Best Mainstream Brand; Forester won Best Compact Utility Vehicle; and Outback won Best Midsize Utility. “These awards are a testament to the overall value of Subaru vehicles and help signify that our vehicles are not only a smart investment, but also reinforce the Subaru brand attributes of durability, reliability, and safety,” said Tom Doll, executive vice president and COO of SOA.
