Subaru meets stringent emission standards required by a number of states with certified 2004 2.5-liter Legacy and Outback models (excluding Outback Sport). These Super-Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (SULEV2) are available for California, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont and contiguous border states and are certified as Partial Zero Emission Vehicles (PZEV).
The PZEV emission system in these certified Subaru vehicles is covered by warranty for 15 years/150,000 miles, whichever comes first. The system adds $200 to the base MSRP. See your Subaru dealer for details.
